Trading Hours

Sunshine Plaza is open seven days a week, so there's always time to fit in a visit — whether you're a early riser after a coffee and browse, or looking for something to do after a morning at the beach.

Individual store trading hours may vary. Department stores, dining and entertainment venues may operate on extended hours. Check directly with individual retailers for their specific opening times.

Public holiday trading hours may differ. Check current public holiday hours here.

Getting to Sunshine Plaza

Sunshine Plaza is located in the heart of Maroochydore, making it one of the most accessible destinations on the Sunshine Coast — whether you're arriving from Brisbane, the airport, or a nearby beach town.

By Car Sunshine Plaza is approximately one hour north of Brisbane via the Bruce Highway (M1), and just 15 minutes from Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY).

By Public Transport Sunshine Plaza is serviced by Translink bus routes with the bus terminal and interchange is located on Horton Parade, near the entrance to Bcc Cinemas. Journey Planner is available at translink.com.au or via the Translink app.

By Taxi or Rideshare Uber and taxi services all service Sunshine Plaza.

Parking at Sunshine Plaza

Sunshine Plaza offers 5 main car parking areas and over 4,800 car spaces for your convenience. Customers can enjoy 3 hours of free* parking when they visit. Find more details on parking here. 

• Accessible parking bays are available close to all main centre entrances. 
• Pram and family parking bays are located close to all main centre entrances. 
• Electric vehicle charging is available via Evie charging bays on Level 3 of the Yellow Myer multi deck car park and Tesla charging bays on Ground Level of the Red Kmart multi deck car park.
• Bicycle Parking is available Ground Level of the Red Kmart multi level car park as well as the Coles multi level ground floor entrance next to the Car Park Pay Station.

Tip: During peak periods such as school holidays and the lead-up to Christmas, we recommend arriving via Millwell Road East car park entry to Purple Car Park and allowing extra time for exiting the car park.

Accessibility at Sunshine Plaza

Sunshine Plaza is committed to providing a welcoming and accessible experience for all visitors.

• Wheelchair and mobility aid access is available throughout the centre with ramps, lifts and accessible pathways.
• Accessible restrooms are located in all amenities. On the Ground Floor, in Food Court, near Kmart, near Coles, next to Foot Locker and near Big W. On Level 1, next to Pandora and near David Jones.
• Adult change facility is located in the amenities corridor between Just Cuts and Ann's Nails.
• Mobility Equipment Hire is available from the Customer Service Desk for wheelchair and motorised scooter.
• Kiddy Car Hire is available from the Customer Service Desk.

Families are always welcome at Sunshine Plaza. Dedicated parent rooms with feeding and change facilities are located in three locations; Food Court, Ground Floor on amenities corridor between Just Cuts and Ann's Nails, and Ground Floor next to Big W.
