 Changes to postal services in Maroochydore
Australia Post is making some changes to postal services in Maroochydore, with the Maroochydore Post Office merging with the Sunshine Plaza Post Office. As a result of this change, Maroochydore Post Office, Shop 1, 25 Duporth Avenue, Maroochydore will permanently close trading 5pm Friday 7 March 2025.

Temporary disruptions to Sunshine Plaza PO Box access
Maroochydore PO Boxes will be relocated to Sunshine Plaza Post Office. Due to the works required to accommodate the additional PO Boxes, you will be unable to access your PO Box at Sunshine Plaza Post Office over the following weekend periods:
- 12pm Friday 28 February 2025 - 8am Monday 3 March 2025
- 12pm Friday 7 March 2025 - 8am Monday 10 March 2025

Sunshine Plaza Post Office temporary closure Saturday 8 February 2025
Sunshine Plaza Post Office will be closed on Saturday 8 February 2025 due to construction works. Maroochydore Post Office will be open from 9am to 12:30pm to serve customers that day.
