Steph shows us how to dress and prep for Christmas in style

They say it’s the most wonderful time of the year, but what precisely makes the holiday season so charmed? For me it’s the holiday cheer, parties with friends and family, thoughtful gift giving, Christmas preparations, family favourite recipes, decorating, bringing in the New Year and of course the excuse to go shopping!
With the holiday shopping season already in full swing I’ve teamed up with the Sunshine Plaza to share my go-to holiday outfits and preparations.
Holiday Parties
Shirt: Country Road | Skirt: Jeanswest | Shoes: Spendless Shoes | Earrings: Lovisa | Necklace: Colette by Colette Hayman
Holiday dressing is always a challenge—how can we embrace the celebratory spirit without looking too cliché? My sartorial approach to this time of the year is presenting a chic and polished version of myself, incorporating one select element that differs from my daily routine like this metallic print skirt from Jeans West. For me subtlety is key, which means refraining from sequins, glitter, or anything else that could possibly associate my dress choices with a Christmas ornament.
Christmas Preparation
P-jay Shirt: Peter Alexander | Slippers: Peter Alexander | Wrapping Paper: Kikki K | Ribbon: Dollar Tree
We’re down to the gift-giving wire, and it’s almost time for most of us to start wrapping our thoughtfully handpicked gifts. Luckily Kikki K has knocked our socks off with their holiday decor to ensure your parcels are just as beautiful on the outside as they are thoughtful on the inside. I also picked up some cute Christmas classics from Peter Alexander for some holiday cheer while I prep for Christmas!
No need to gift traditional trinkets and knick knacks this holiday season, give the gift of style with these small but chic finds for your stylish stocking stuffers.
Rose gold make-up bag from Rubi Shoes | Grapefruit body butter from The Body Shop | Revlon Colorburst & Ultra HD lipsticks from Myer | Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polishes from Target | Make blonde shampoo, conditioner and smooth serum from Hairhouse Warehouse | Fabric hair ties from Cotton On | Kristen Ash rose gold chain and charms from Silver Shop | P-jay Christmas cracker from Peter Alexander
New Year's Eve
Top: Dotti | Skirt: Dotti | Belt: Forever New | Jewellery: Pandora
If you’re searching for a high-impact ensemble for your NYE bash, I suggest creating an outfit with separates that you’ll be able to mix and match all year long rather than investing in one not-so-versatile glittery frock. To start, I like the idea of a statement-making skirt, like Dotti’s floral midi skirt. Then, to prevent your outfit from becoming too loud or over the top, I suggest going for a neutral top; Dotti’s sequin top works well because it’s a simple silhouette but the sequins give it a cool shine. To finish off the look, I added a hint of sparkle with my accessories. All these looks can be purchased at Sunshine Plaza, the place for all your holiday party prep needs.
