Do you get the guilts when throwing away your used beauty products?
Well, we have good news! Sephora has partnered with TerraCycle, the leaders in hard-to-recycle materials, to help keep your once-loved product out of landfill. Whether it's pots, tubs or tubes, palettes, wands or jars, you can now return your empty beauty products to a Sephora store across Australia - and you'll be rewarded for it!
How To Recycle?
Gather your empty beauty products, head to your local Sephora store and hand your empties over to our friendly staff at the register to redeem your Beauty Pass points.
Return & Earn
Points will be added to your Beauty Pass account for your next purchase.
For 1 – 4 units recycled, earn 50 points
For 5- 9 units recycled, earn 100 points
For 10+ units recycled, earn 150 points
If you’re not a Sephora Beauty Pass Member, simply sign up online or in-store to start earning points for recycling.
What Can You Recycle?
Lip Products
Body Wash Bottles
Concealer Tubes and Sticks
Shampoo and Conditioner Bottles
Glass packaging and pots
Mascara tubes, Wands and Eyeliners
Palettes and Compacts (Including with mirrors)
What Happens To My Empties?
Everything collected is sent to TerraCycle to be sorted and processed into raw materials that can be reused instead of ending up in landfill.
